At Our Lady of the Rosary, Kellyville, we are committed to providing each student with a life-giving and quality education.
As a Catholic school we teach the doctrine of the Catholic Church and do our best to live out the Gospel values. We provide Religious Education that is the basis for all facets of school life.
Our school motto, ‘Work and Pray’, reflects our values particularly in the use of the diocesan program – a program which provides high-quality, innovative sequential units that aim to improve the religious learning outcomes of all children. Our daily prayer and rich liturgical life supports all members of the school community in their lifelong journey in the Catholic faith.
The children at Our Lady of the Rosary are involved in organising and attending class and school liturgies and Reconciliation. This encourages the children to recognise God in their daily life experience. The links between the school and parish are an integral aspect of school life at Our Lady of the Rosary, and this is evident throughout the year in our attendance at Parish Masses, and the school's involvement in our Parish Feast Day. Attendance by parents and members of the wider school community is welcomed at all celebrations. This attendance strengthens the partnership between parents, as primary faith educators, the local parish and the school community, in the faith development of the children who attend our school.
All sacraments received by the children at Our Lady of the Rosary, Kellyville, are parish-based, but are strongly supported by teaching staff, parents and members of the Leadership Team.
