Learning spaces
Our learning areas reflect the growth of our students, supporting each age and stage with the tools and spaces they need to develop their lifelong love of learning.
Kindergarten space
Our youngest students are welcomed with bright, visually stimulating learning spaces equipped with the technology and other resources they need for engaging, hands-on learning.
Infants spaces
Students learn in dynamic and well-resourced spaces with breakout spaces accommodating small or large group work. This allows for a variety of educational experiences to suit all types of learners.
Primary spaces
As our students grow, we ensure they have opportunities to develop skills in collaboration and independent study. Technology is integrated to support our contemporary learning and teaching.
Specialised areas
School Library
Our library is a favourite for all students who use it for reading, games, craft activities. Every class visits at least weekly to borrow books and develop their love of reading.
Out of Hours Care
Ambrose Early Years Learning and School Aged Care provides before and after school care for students in Years K-6 in a well resourced space located on the school grounds.
Learning Streets
Our Learning Streets are located on each level of our main building and contain makerspace areas for each year group to use. This extends hands-on experience and collaboration outside the classroom.
Outdoor areas
Students at Our Lady of the Rosary also enjoy making the most of the school's outdoor areas. These include the new construction of multipurpose sports courts.
Kindergarten playground
Our dedicated Kindergarten playground gives students the opportunity to develop their physical movement and skills.
Climbing equipment
Our climbing equipment has been purpose built using recycled materials, made from the trees that were removed for construction of new buildings.
Covered Outdoor Learning Area
The Covered Outdoor Learning Area (COLA) is our school gathering space and playground. The tiered pathway provides seating as well as staging opportunities for school events.
Multipurpose courts
Constructed in 2024, our new multipurpose court can host a variety of outdoor sports including netball, basketball and soccer.
Primary playground
There's plenty of space for students to be active with a mixture of hard surfaces and shady, grassed areas. We encourage our students to develop their social skills through play.
Vegetable garden
The school garden club maintains the school gardens, growing fruit and vegetables throughout the year.
